How do I book a campervan?
You can book a campervan by visiting our website and selecting the “Book Now” option. Choose your desired campervan, pick-up and drop-off dates, and follow the prompts to complete your reservation. Alternatively, you can contact us directly via email or phone to assist with your booking.

Is there a minimum rental period?
The minimum rental period is 3 nights. During certain travel periods, a higher/lower minimum rental period may apply.

Do you have a age restrict for renting?
Yes, The driver must be atleast 21 years old.

Are pets allowed in the campervans?
Yes, pets are allowed in for an additional cleaning fee.

What is included in the campervan rental?
Our campervans come equipped with essential amenities such as a comfortable bed, kitchen appliances, dining utensils, A detailed list of included items is provided on each campervan’s page on our website.

Is there a mileage limit for the campervan rental?
250/km day, add on for unlimited mileage is available.

Do I need a special driver’s license to rent a campervan?
A standard B driving license is enough for our campervans.

Are there any hidden fees?
We strive to be transparent with our pricing. Any additional fees, such as cleaning, extra mileage, or additional equipment rentals, will be clearly stated in your booking confirmation. There are no hidden charges.

What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation. Generally, cancellations made more than 30 days before the booking date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of the booking date may incur a partial or no refund. Please refer to our full cancellation policy on our website for detailed information.

Can I change my booking dates?
Yes, you can modify your booking dates subject to availability and any applicable fees. To change your booking, please contact us as soon as possible with your new desired dates. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

What happens if I need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances?
If you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact us immediately. We may be able to offer a partial refund or a credit towards a future rental, depending on the situation and our cancellation policy.

How do I request a refund if I cancel my booking?
To request a refund following a cancellation, please contact us via email or phone with your booking details. Our team will process your request according to our cancellation policy and provide you with the necessary information about your refund.

How does the campervan work?
Don’t worry! When you pick up the campervan, our team will give you a thorough tour, explaining how everything works, from the kitchen appliances to the heating system and more. They’ll walk you through all the key features and answer any questions you might have. And if you have any questions during your trip, we’re just a phone call away, ready to assist you anytime!

What fuel is in the vans?

All our campervans run on DIESEL

Are your campervans suitable to drive in Swedish winters?

Yes, our campervans are suitable for driving in Swedish winters. While they are not 4×4, they come equipped with high-quality winter tires, ensuring good traction on snowy and icy roads. Additionally, the vans are well-insulated and feature a parking heater to keep you warm during those cold winter nights, making them comfortable and reliable for winter trips.

What equipment is included in the campervan rental?

Specific equipment and amenities are listed on each campervan’s page.

Are there any additional equipment options available?
Yes, we offer additional equipment options that can be added to your rental for a fee. You can view and select these options during the booking process or contact us for more details.

Can I bring my own equipment or personal items?
Absolutely! You are welcome to bring your own equipment and personal items. However, we recommend checking the available storage space in the campervan to ensure everything fits comfortably. If you have specific items in mind, feel free to ask us for advice on packing and storage.

Can I add extras during Pick-Up?

Yes, it is possible based on availability.

Payment Terms & Deposit

What are the payment terms, and how do I make a payment?

Full payment is required upon booking to secure your reservation. Payment must be received in full before your booking is confirmed. Please ensure the transfer is completed promptly to avoid any delays in your booking. For more details, please read section (8) of our Terms & Conditions.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), debit cards,  and bank transfers. Cash payments are not accepted.

Do you require a security deposit?
Yes, a security deposit of 5000 SEK is required at the time of pick-up. It is refundable upon the safe return of the campervan in its original condition.

How do I pay the security deposit?

The security deposit can be paid with Swish,Paypal or Bank Transfer.

Customer Service & Support

How can I contact customer service?
You can reach our customer service team by email, phone, or through our online contact form available on our website. For immediate assistance, please call our customer support number. Our team is available during business hours to address any questions or concerns you may have.

Do you offer support for special requirements or needs?
Yes, we are committed to accommodating special requirements and needs wherever possible. If you have specific needs or require special assistance, please inform us at the time of booking or contact our customer service team in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.

What should I do if I forget my booking confirmation details?
If you forget your booking confirmation details, please contact our customer service team. Provide us with your name and the date of your reservation, and we will assist you in retrieving your booking information.

When and how can I contact Nordic Camper?

You can contact Nordic Camper anytime! Since we don’t have fixed office hours, we recommend reaching out via email or phone, and we’ll respond promptly. We’re available to assist you with any inquiries or booking details around the pickup and drop-off times.

How do I update my personal information or booking details?
To update your personal information or booking details, log in to your account on our website or contact our support team. We will assist you in making the necessary changes to ensure your information is accurate and up-to-date.

What should I do if I have a problem with my campervan during my rental?
If you encounter any issues with your campervan during your rental, please contact our support team immediately. We provide 24/7 support with any problems you might face.

What should I do if something is missing or damaged in the campervan?
If you notice any missing or damaged items upon pickup, please inform us immediately so we can address the issue. During your rental, if you encounter any problems with the equipment or campervan, contact our support team right away for assistance.

What happens if I damage the campervan?

Any damage that occurs during the rental period must be reported to us immediately. If you have chosen additional insurance, it may reduce your excess.

Pick-Up & Drop-Off

What do I need to bring when I pick up the campervan?

Your Passport/ID Card, drivers license and a valid payment method. Copies of these documents are not accepted. is from a non-EU/EEA country, you may need an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with your original license.

Will the campervan have a full tank when I pick it up?

Yes, the campervan will have a full tank when you pick it up, and it should be returned full. If it’s not returned with a full tank, a refueling fee will apply.

Can I pick up the campervan 24/7?

Pickup is available starting from 15:00. If you’re arriving by flight, we’ll be there to meet you when your plane arrives (after 15:00). If you need to pick up the camper earlier, it may be possible depending on availability—please contact us to arrange this!

What happens if I am delayed for my desired pick-up date/time?

You can still pick up the camper whenever after 15:00 on the same day. We just ask that you let us know if you’ll be running late so we can adjust accordingly!

Can I park my personal vehicle at your pick-up location?
Yes, we offer parking for your personal vehicle at our pick-up location for the duration of your rental.

Can I extend my rental period while on the road?
Extensions are possible based on availability. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange an extension.

Can I only pick up the campervan in Töre or at Luleå Airport?
Please contact us if you have any other wishes for pickup or drop-off locations, and we will see what we can do to accommodate your needs. We aim to be flexible and will do our best to arrange a convenient option for you.

Can I get extra equipment for the campervan?

Yes, we offer extra equipment such as unlimited mileage, child seats and camping gear for an additional fee.

Can I return the campervan 24/7?

Drop-off is available latest 12:00.

What happens if I return the campervan late?

Late returns may result in additional charges.

What happens if I return the campervan earlier than planned?
If you return the campervan early, you will not receive a refund for the unused days unless otherwise stated in the rental agreement.

In what condition do I have to return the campervan?

When returning the campervan, please ensure that the vehicle and all equipment is in the same condition as when it was picked up.

  • Cleanliness: The interior should be clean and tidy. We may charge a cleaning fee if the van is excessively dirty.

  • Fuel: The tank should be full. If not, a refueling fee will apply.

  • General Condition: The campervan should be in the same condition as when you picked it up, with no damage or excessive wear.

  • Waste: Remove all personal belongings and dispose of any waste in the appropriate bins.

Do I have to refuel the campervan?

Yes, the campervan should be returned full. If it’s not returned with a full tank, a refueling fee will apply.

Insurance & Usage Policy

What insurance options do you offer and what do they cover?

All our vehicles come with basic insurance (Collision Damage Waiver – CDW), which is automatically included in the rental price. In the event of damage to the vehicle or an accident, the insurance covers the costs, subject to a deductible of 15,000 SEK. Damage from stones, scratches, or flat tires is covered with a deductible of 5,000 SEK.

For more comprehensive protection, additional insurance options are available, such as Gravel Protection, Plus+ Insurance, and All-Inclusive Insurance, which can reduce or eliminate the deductible and cover more scenarios.

What insurances do you recommend?

For a hassle-free road trip, we recommend our All-Inclusive Insurance. This comprehensive coverage not only provides extensive protection but also comes with a 0 SEK self-risk, ensuring you won’t have any additional costs in the event of damage, theft, or other issues.

Can I change / add insurance when I pick up the car?

Yes of course. That is no problem.

Is smoking inside the campervan allowed?

Smoking is strictly forbidden, if we notice any smoking has occured we will charge 1500SEK in cleaning fee.

Is off-road driving allowed with the campervan?

No, off-road driving is not permitted without prior approval and additional insurance. Driving on unpaved or off-road paths can result in damage not covered by standard insurance.

What is the maximum number of passengers allowed in the campervan?

The campervan has a maximum passenger limit that must not be exceeded. All passengers must be seated and secured according to safety regulations.

Am I allowed to modify or alter the campervan?

No, alterations or modifications to the campervan, including adding equipment or changing fixtures, are not allowed without approval.

Can anyone drive the campervan, or are there restrictions on drivers?

Only drivers listed in the rental agreement are authorized to drive the campervan. Unauthorized drivers may not be covered by insurance.

Parking & Wild Camping

What should I know about parking the campervan?

We recommend parking the campervan in designated areas such as official campsites or well-marked parking lots. Avoid parking in restricted zones, private property, or areas where overnight parking is not allowed. Always check local regulations, and when possible, use level ground to ensure the stability and safety of the vehicle during your stay.

Do you have a list of Campsites?

There are numerous campsites throughout Northern Sweden, offering a range of experiences and amenities. For example, you can find campsites in popular areas like Abisko, Stora Sjöfallet, and Luleå.

Do you have any recommendations for finding good parking spots?Yes! We recommend using the Park4Night app, which helps you find great parking spots, campsites, and rest areas specifically for campervans and motorhomes. The app provides reviews, amenities, and local tips, making it easier to locate safe and convenient spots to park during your journey. 

Is wild camping allowed in Northern Sweden?

Yes, wild camping is generally allowed in Northern Sweden under the “Allemansrätten” (Everyman’s Right), which gives you the freedom to camp on uncultivated land, provided you follow certain guidelines. However, specific rules may vary by location, so please check local regulations and respect private property.

What are the guidelines for wild camping with the campervan?

When wild camping with the campervan, please ensure you leave the campsite in the same or better condition than you found it. Clean up thoroughly and dispose of all waste properly, including toilet paper and disposable wet wipes. Open fires are not permitted in natural areas; use portable stoves or other approved cooking methods instead. Be sure to follow any local rules or restrictions regarding wild camping in the area you choose.

Repairs

Am i allowed to do repairs on the campervan?

Yes, you are allowed to perform repairs on the campervan, but the cost of repairs should not exceed 1,150 SEK without prior approval. If the repairs are estimated to be more than this amount, please contact us before proceeding.

Toll Fees & Fines

Are toll fees included in the rental price?

  • No, toll fees are not included in the rental price. The renter is responsible for paying any tolls incurred during the trip. Please ensure you keep receipts for your records.

Who is responsible for fines and penalties?

The renter is responsible for any fines or penalties incurred during the rental period, including parking tickets, traffic violations, and other infractions. These will be charged to you if incurred.

 

Thieft & Loss

What should I do if the campervan is stolen?

If the campervan is stolen, immediately contact local authorities to file a police report. Notify us as soon as possible so we can assist with the situation and begin processing any insurance claims.

Are my personal belongings covered if stolen from the campervan?

No, the insurance covers theft of the campervan itself, but personal belongings inside are not covered. It is recommended to keep valuables with you or use secure storage options.

Safety

What security and safety features are included in the campervan?

The campervan is equipped with a gas detector, a fire extinguisher, and a fire alarm to ensure your safety.

Should I turn off the gas when it is not in use?

Yes, you should always turn off the gas when it is not in use to prevent potential hazards.
